Tip: Start the Class with a Game

Start the class with a game when teaching ESL students abroad

Students in certain parts of Asia have schedules that are more grueling than working three part-time jobs. An early start to the school day, combined with a myriad of after school academies for subjects like Math, Science, and English, mean that students are often bored and exhausted by the time they get to your class.  As a teaching tip, try to make your lessons as fun and engaging as possible. Playing a game at the start of class can go a long way in terms of lightening up the mood.
